Why the Jaguar C-X75 was never made ?

Jaguar's C-X75 : The concept that never made it to production ! C-X75 the car started as a show-car to celebrate 75 years of Jaguar. In 2011 a handpicked team of engineers was assigned the task to develop a supercar with the speed of  a Veyron, range of a Volt, and carbon emissions of a Prius. The car was developed in collaboration with the F1 team Williams F1. The C-X75 had a combined power output of 850hp and 1000Nm of torque, produced from 1.6 litre dual boosted(supercharged and turbocharged) 4 cylinder engine which was capable of generating 502bhp at 10,000 rpm. Up to 5,500 rpm it is supercharged, after that turbo handles the sorcery, which keeps it going to a limit of 10,200 rpm. There are 2 electric motors one at the rear and one at the front each making 200hp and 300lb ft of torque. It came with a 7 speed automated manual transmission allowing gearshifts in under 200 milliseconds. Its very first prototype exceeded 200mph with ease during testing and had a theoretic...

Ford GT Over-hyped ?

2017 Ford GT Yes, one of the most anticipated cars of the year was the legendary Ford GT which made a huge comeback 50 yrs after defeating the Ferrari in the Le Mans .It took people by the awe when it was unveiled, that aero and with the most beautiful rebirth someone has ever given to a design. It bought out the petrolhead in me when I first read about the stats and the insane claims made by the company and I totally believed it. Because it doesn't take much to believe right ? But it really does take much to deliver, to perform... And did it ?  In some way it must have ... :P The Ford GT powered by a 3.5 litre V6 engine producing 647HP and the GT claims to hit 0-60 mph in just 2.8 secs, but ford hasn't done justice to the car by not planning it out very well. Making a great supercar is one thing , planning the launch, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery and performing as per claims is what makes it great. Unfortunately Ford couldn't do the latter. ...

Mercedes Hypercar

The Mercedes Hypercar : AMG Project One has been in the buzz for months now , its one of most awaited car when we talk about the upcoming hyper cars. Which also includes the new McLaren F1 and the Aston Martin Valkyrie. News from certain sources suggests that the car is already made and has been shown to some exclusive customers, but the design is still being tweaked to perfection because apparently some customers didn't like the design. We don't know much about it but the power train was recently unveiled at the Pebble beach , it will posses a petrol electric plug in hybrid powered by a HV lithium ion battery pack ,we don't know how fast will it go or what will be the 0-60 time or the top speed , but what we do know that it it derives its technology from the F1 technology of Mercedes , its going to be super light and will have more than 1000 HP , that too squeezed from an F1 derived 1.6 litre V6 electrically turbocharged engine. Is McLaren Lying about 720S ?

Yes, they are and NO the Mclaren 720s is not Under-performing  but rather Over Performing, whenever the horse power of a car is reported by a manufacturer it's the base or the raw power developed at the engine and not the one transferred to the wheels as some power is lost in the transmission. McLaren 720s was thought to produce 700 horsepower at the engine but it actually delivers 700 HP to the wheels! which means it has close to around 770-800 HP. And not only the results can be seen on a Dyno but also on the track!.The quarter mile times coming in from the sources say that its faster than a 918 !! or an Aventador SV in a straight line , it has a quarter mile time of the sub 10 secs!! and that is insanely fast. McLaren 720s Why is McLaren lying to their customers about the 720s ? Well lying isn't that bad I guess especially if your car  Over Performs ,  you get more for whatever price you pay which is certainly not bad , A decently specked Mclaren ...
